| This article presents an analysis of the insertion into the process of agroindustrialization of LAR Agroindustrial Cooperative from the municipality of Medianeira (State of Paraná) and its effect on the collection of ICMS (Tax on Transfer of Goods and on Transport Services Interstate, Intercity, and on Communication) in the cities where the cooperative has manufacturing plants for the period ranging from 2000 to 2004. The methodology used was documentary research and case study. The results of the research reveal that LAR Agroindustrial Cooperative has positively contributed to ICMS collection in the municipalities of Medianeira, Itaipulândia, Missal, Matelândia, Céu Azul, and Santa Helena. |

| A SAPARD-ban, az AVOP-ban és az NVT-ben rendelkezésre álló források a magyar agrárium és a vidéki gazdaság szerkezet-átalakításának, modernizálásá-nak megkezdését szolgálták, a szükséges változások megvalósításához viszont szerények voltak. A három program tapasztalatai azt mutatják, hogy a fejlesztési források felhasználásával kapcsolatos korábbi kételyek nem igazolódtak, a be-adott pályázatok, támogatási kérelmek forrásigénye esetenként jelentősen meg-haladta az előirányzott pénzügyi keretet. A fő célkitűzések, prioritások jórészt teljesültek, de néhány intézkedés megvalósulásában módosítást igénylő arányta-lanságok is jelentkeztek. | O objetivo do presente estudo é identificar a relevância socioeconômica da atividade leiteira para a agricultura familiar e para o desenvolvimento regional. No decorrer do estudo, apresentou-se o comportamento da produção de leite em âmbito nacional, estadual e regional, apontando as principais características da atividade leiteira na Região Oeste Catarinense. Foi realizado um estudo de caso na localidade da Linha Tormem, interior do município de Chapecó-SC, em que foram realizadas entrevistas com os produtores de leite. | A mezőgazdaságra, s általában az élelemtermelésre is egyre élesedő, globali-zálódó verseny vár. Ez magyarázza, hogy az európai agrárpolitika eszményei és realitásai mindinkább konfliktusba kerülnek, és ez az oka a KAP állandó re-formjainak, ezzel függenek össze a verseny torzításai, valamint a KAP követke-zetlenségei is. | In Poland, farmers rely primarily on cooperative banks for agricultural credit. Therefore, the paper attempt is to examine the impact of agricultural credits disbursed by the cooperative banks on regional development of agricultural sector in Poland over 1997- 2006. Sources of data include financial statements of the banks (1373 observations) providing credit-related information and sectoral background data for agriculture from Central Statistical Office of Poland. | Cultural landscapes are appreciated for the plethora of ecosystem services that they provide to society. They are, however, subject to rapid and fundamental transformations across Europe, mainly as a result of intensification or abandonment of land uses. Our objective is to assess the possible future drivers of cultural landscape changes and their likely impacts on ecosystem services provision as perceived by local actors. We present stakeholder-based scenarios for the Swabian Alb, a biosphere reserve in southern Germany, projected to the yr 2040.
